Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Wingmann mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Service”) operated by Wingmann (“Company”, “We”, “Us”, or “Our”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

Interpretation & Definitions

The words whose initial letter is capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. These definitions have the same meaning whether they appear in singular or plural.

1Eligibility

To use Wingmann:

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
• You must not be prohibited from using the Service under applicable laws.
• You must not have been previously banned from Wingmann.

By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

2Account Registration

You agree to:

• Provide accurate and truthful information.
• Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• Be solely responsible for all activity under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false or misleading information.

3Serious Intent Policy

Wingmann is designed exclusively for individuals seeking meaningful and intentional relationships. By using the Service, you agree that:

• You are not using the platform for casual hookups, solicitation, or entertainment purposes.
• You will not misrepresent your relationship intent.
• You will engage respectfully and authentically.

We reserve the right to remove users who violate the spirit of serious intent.

4Community Conduct

You agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, stalk, or intimidate other users.
• Share explicit, obscene, or sexually exploitative content.
• Impersonate another person.
• Use the Service for commercial solicitation.
• Share another user’s personal information without consent.
• Screenshot, record, or distribute private conversations without consent.
• Attempt to manipulate compatibility systems.

Violation may result in immediate suspension or permanent ban without prior notice.

Wingmann has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behaviour. You can report or block any user directly within the app. We review reports and remove offending content and/or users, typically within 24 hours.

5Voice Calls & Audio Communication

Wingmann lets matched users speak by voice within the app. By using this feature you agree that:

• Voice calls are intended to help you get to know a match and are subject to the same Community Conduct standards as every other interaction.
• You will not use calls to harass, threaten, solicit, or share another user’s personal information.
• Wingmann does not record the audio content of your calls - we process only limited technical information such as call duration and timestamps to operate the feature and prevent abuse.
• Voice calling is enabled with the help of a third-party communications provider, and the handling of related data is described in our Privacy Policy.
• Recording a call without the other participant’s knowledge and consent may be unlawful and is strictly prohibited on Wingmann.

6How Wingmann Chat & Calling Work

• Chat is available only between users who have mutually matched.
• Chat is text only. Photos, videos, and files cannot be sent.
• Each conversation is limited to 96 hours and 2,000 characters in total, shared between both people. The purpose of chat is to arrange an in-app call, it is not an open-ended messaging service.
• When the window closes, you can still call your match in the app.
• In-app calling is limited to 30 minutes per match.
• Wingmann is designed around meeting at our partner venues. Chat is a step toward that, not a replacement for it.

7Prohibited Use of Chat & Calling

You agree not to use Wingmann Chat or calling to:

• share or request contact details of any kind, including phone numbers, email addresses, social media handles or usernames, messaging app identifiers, payment handles, or links of any kind;
• arrange to communicate or meet outside the Wingmann platform;
• share physical addresses or precise locations;
• harass, threaten, intimidate, stalk, or abuse another user;
• send sexually explicit content or make unsolicited sexual requests;
• use hate speech or slurs, or attack anyone on the basis of religion, caste, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic;
• impersonate anyone, or misrepresent your identity or age;
• send spam, solicit money, promote a business, or attempt any scam;
• attempt to evade our safety systems, including by encoding, splitting, obfuscating, or disguising any of the above.

8Automated Screening & Its Limits

All messages are automatically screened before delivery. Messages that appear to violate these Terms or our Community Guidelines will not be delivered, and you will be told when this happens.

No automated system is perfect. A legitimate message may occasionally be blocked, and a violating message may occasionally get through. Screening does not make Wingmann responsible for content sent by users, and it is not a substitute for your own judgement about who you talk to and meet.

9Zero Tolerance, Reporting & Blocking

Wingmann has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behaviour. Content that violates these Terms will be removed or blocked, and users who engage in abusive behaviour may have their accounts suspended or terminated without notice or refund.

You can report any message or user from within the chat, and block any user from the chat header or their profile. Blocking stops all messages and calls between you in both directions.

We review every report and act on violations within 24 hours. Depending on severity, we may remove content, issue a warning, restrict features, or permanently terminate the account. We may report unlawful activity to the authorities.

10Your Safety

Never share financial information or send money to anyone you meet on Wingmann. Meet at our partner venues, in public. If someone makes you uncomfortable, block and report them. You never need a reason, and we will not tell them you did.

11Content Ownership & License

You retain ownership of content you post. However, by posting content, you grant Wingmann a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, modify (for formatting purposes), and distribute it - solely for operating and promoting the Service. You represent that you have the rights necessary to grant this license.

12AI Moderation & Enforcement

Wingmann may use automated systems, behavioral analytics, and manual review teams to monitor compliance with these Terms. We reserve the right to remove content, restrict visibility, suspend accounts, and permanently ban users. Decisions may be based on algorithmic detection combined with human oversight, and enforcement decisions are final and at the Company’s discretion.

13User Interactions & Risk Disclaimer

Wingmann does not conduct full criminal background checks unless explicitly stated. You acknowledge that:

• You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users.
• The Company is not liable for the conduct of any user.
• We do not guarantee compatibility, success of relationships, or user authenticity beyond reasonable safeguards.

Offline meetings occur at your own risk.

14Payments & Subscriptions

If Wingmann offers paid services: fees will be clearly disclosed before purchase; payments are non-refundable unless required by law; subscription renewals may occur automatically unless canceled. Failure to pay may result in restricted access.

15Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or our Community Guidelines, engage in harmful or deceptive behavior, or if we believe your presence poses a risk to other users. You may terminate your account at any time via account settings. Termination does not eliminate obligations incurred prior to termination.

16Intellectual Property

All trademarks, logos, branding, design elements, and platform algorithms belong to Wingmann. You may not copy platform design, reverse-engineer algorithms, or use branding without written permission.

17Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wingmann shall not be liable for emotional distress, relationship outcomes, user misrepresentation, harassment by other users, indirect or consequential damages, or loss of profits or opportunity. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you (if any) in the preceding 6 months.

18Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Wingmann harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising from your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, your interactions with other users, or your violation of any third-party rights.

19Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

20Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts located in Karnataka, India. We may attempt informal resolution before formal proceedings.

21Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users via in-app notification, email, and an updated “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
