Delete your account

You can permanently delete your Wingmann account and the personal data associated with it at any time, either from inside the app or by emailing us. You do not need a reason, and we will not ask you for one.

1Delete from inside the app

This is the fastest route and takes effect immediately.

1. Open the Wingmann app and sign in.
2. Go to Profile.
3. Tap Delete Account.
4. Confirm when prompted.

Your profile stops being visible to other users straight away.

2Request deletion by email

If you no longer have the app installed, or you cannot sign in, you can request deletion by email instead. No installation and no account access is required.

3What gets deleted

When your account is deleted, we permanently erase:

• your profile, name, age, bio, and compatibility inputs;
• your photographs and the facial vectors derived from them;
• your matches and chat messages;
• your questionnaire responses and preferences.

Deletion is permanent. Your account cannot be restored afterwards, and you will need to sign up again from scratch if you return to Wingmann.

4What we keep, and for how long

A small amount of data is kept after deletion, only where it is needed to keep other users safe or to meet a legal obligation. We keep it for no longer than the periods below.

Call metadata (no audio is ever recorded)	12 months

We may retain records longer where the law requires it, or where we need them to investigate a serious safety incident. Everything else is permanently deleted or anonymised.

5Requesting a copy of your data

You may also request a copy of your personal data, including your messages, rather than deleting it. Email hello@wingmann.co with the subject “Copy of my data” and we will respond within 30 days.
